Workplace Violence Awareness

Workplace violence is an important issue that impacts every working environment. Homicide is now the second leading cause of all work-related deaths. Moreover, other forms of violence, such as verbal threats, physical confrontations, and harassing phone calls, are on the rise. This course defines workplace violence, presents indicators for identifying it, and discusses example scenarios for dealing with it.
