Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
The Healthcare Provider Course is designed to
teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages.
Includes one and two person CPR, instruction in
mouth to mouth ventilation, rescue breathing,
ventilation with a barrier device, bag-mask device,
use of an Automated External Defibrillator and
relief of foreign-body airway obstruction.
Instruction will also include an overview of the
Cardiac chain of survival, signals of a heart attack,
cardiac arrest, stroke and the knowledge and the
skills necessary to prevent, recognize and provide
basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until
advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
