Hazard Communication

Reviews the basic OSHA compliance requirements of the 29 CFR Part 1910.1200 regulation to include an explanation of the requirements of the standard. In addition, this course covers in detail both the physical and health hazard categories of chemicals, protective measures fundamental to employee protection, common labeling techniques used to communicate chemical hazards, how to read a Material Safety Data Sheet as well as the basic rules for safe chemical handling and use.
