Automated External Defibrillator: Use and Operation

Course combines adult CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) with basic level first aid procedures. Students of this course will be taught how to perform adult CPR, relieve a foreign-body airway obstruction, use a barrier device during rescue breathing, use an AED and provide first aid for acute injuries and sudden illnesses.
